The company founder, Heather Lowe,  is an animal lover with a passion for  the well-being of all animals

Her strong bond with the animal world started at an early age. Her family raised pedigree Airedale Terriers during her grade school years and the movie Bambi made  a lasting impression. Heather’s   passion  for animal welfare grew after rescuing a stranded, starving cat from a tree at 15.

She has been a volunteer with the ASPCA   in NYC, President of the Windham County Humane Society (Vermont) and a long-standing volunteer and foster parent with    the Seattle Animal Shelter.  Heather was recently featured on the Seattle TV show Evening Magazine for her special-needs pet fostering. 

She has rescued many dogs, cats, birds  and other wildlife and donated hundreds of collars and leads to animal shelters in VT, MA and WA.   Her beloved Springer Spaniel, Muppet, shared her life for 14 years. She currently lives in Seattle with her three rescued cats. 

Heather is a former marketing executive for Revlon and Nordstrom. She grew up in Westchester County New York.
